Fall Favourites

Now that Fall is upon us I find myself reaching for those comfy sweaters and the warm drinks more so than what I did before.

I wanted to just share some of my fall favourites now that cozy sweater weather is upon us..

First the music,

I don’t know about you but the moment that I feel a little bit of cold on my skin in September I automatically feel like out is time for the Halloween music. For myself I always play the ‘Nightmare before Christmas’ soundtrack. I mean who doesn’t love listening to “This is Halloween..This is Halloween” when you’re driving around all bundled up.This easily puts me in the mood for September and then October as well! It is a great way to prepare yourself for the fall season that is coming upon you!

Now, I am not just all about Halloween music in the fall.. I ALSO love country music in the fall. Especially the music that talks about driving down the back roads. Personally I find myself listening to artists such as Alan Jackson or Thomas Rhett because I find their music comforting around the fall season. Thomas Rhett’s song “Country Again” gives me the instant feeling of Fall and the leaves all changing. Just take a listen to some of the songs in this playlist I found here.

Second, the scents and yes I mean candles as well…

The smell of pine trees and the smell of the cold in the air makes me go for a blanket or a toque to cuddle up in. I want to sit out in my car and just breathe in that fall air. Feeling the cold air against my skin or breathing it in is one of my favourite parts of Fall :)

I know what I am about to say gives off very white girl vibes but I don’t exactly care because…I frankly this is my blog and my own opinions and feelings. I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works and their candles! I have linked a few of them below for you to see exactly which ones I am a huge fan of in Fall.

Who can forget about the clothes?

Fall is the perfect time for cozy sweaters and leggings and new jeans! For me.. it's the season for cardigans and long maxi dresses with boots

Just recently I bought myself a new cardigan and I am OBSESSED with it! I purchased it from Marshall's and I have yet to wear it but I already have the outfits planned out in my head. I am unable to find it online so I did some searching and found one similar which I have added below and you can purchase it here (Keep in mind that this is a US clothing website so prices are in US dollars)

I mentioned jeans above and honestly... I live in skinny jeans with the high waist and they are unbelievably comfortable especially if you are someone like me who has a love pouch. I can easily hide my love pouch in jeans just like the ones below.

The jeans below are from American Eagle and are listed for $74.95 which is a great price because they truly last a very long time. (I still have AE jeans from when I was in grade 9 and they are in excellent condition). They are Ripped High-Waisted Skinny Jeans and come in sizes starting in 0000 all the way up to 20 and can be purchased here.
